Blended from 80% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzenay and 20% Chardonnay from Avize, Cramant, and le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Alexandra Grande Cuvee Rose is cellar aged for 8 years prior to disgorgement.

Originally created by Bernard de Nonancourt, the late Head of House at Laurent-Perrier, to present to his eldest daughter, Alexandra, on her wedding day in 1987.

Appearance:

Clear, pale salmon pink with good beads.

Aroma:

Nutty with strawberry, raspberry and blueberry jammy/preserved fruit with blood orange and faint perfume notes.

Taste:

Subtle and savoury, mineral rich with jammy red fruit and biscuit.

Aftertaste:

Long savoury white fruit with white pepper. Complex and subtle in its delivery.
