Released in December 2015 as a travel retail exclusive, Neist Point (pronounced ‘Neest’) is named after the most westerly headland on the Isle of Skye. Neist Point is blended from a wide range of ages of whisky predominantly aged in refill American oak casks. It is bottled without chill-filtration.
Neist Point was blended by Talisker Malt Master, Craig Wilson, “Using casks from a wide variety of different wood type and ages, I’ve captured the differing flavour profiles of Talisker, incorporating fiery, spicy and sweeter vanilla notes. By using some of our finest, rare casks that have been left to rest longer, TALISKER NEIST POINT delivers an incomparable flavour journey with an extra-refined, sweet, smoky, finish that engulfs the palate, wave after wave.”

Clear, deep golden amber.
Smouldering wood smoke, vanilla fudge, caramel and marine saltiness with overripe banana, cereal, white creamy chocolate, brazil nuts and cracked black pepper. More bready and spicy with water – clove emerges.
Faintly sweet, marine saltiness, peat smoke and vanilla fudge over underlying solid malty notes with black pepper, nutmeg, star anise and light clove. Take water well, amplifying subtle honeyed sweetness.
Salty, vanilla, light vegetal, cracked black pepper, dark chilli chocolate, biscuity vanilla and clove spice.
More than a hint of marine saltiness and elegant smoky peat are served in balanced proportions with malty vanilla fudge and enlivening black pepper and light clove spice.
