Blended by Maestro del Ron Cubano Asbel Morales, this non-age-statement rum is the first (released in May 2016) of Havana Club’s Tributo Collection, a series of annual limited editions made with the best aged rums in the brand’s cellars and blended to showcase different styles of Cuban rum.

Each annual Tributo release will be limited to 2,500 bottles and each bottle individually numbered.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery golden amber with faint green hue.

Aroma:

Pungent, dried and tropical fruit, raisins and a whiff of new fishing line with toasted nutty oaky notes.

Taste:

Full-bodied and rich, but well-balanced with attractive dried fruit, tropical fruit and orchard fruit, sultana, tobacco leaf, grassy notes and nutty oak.

Aftertaste:

Long dry, dried fruit finish with light mocha coffee and delicately spiced subtle oak.

Overall:

A characterful sipping rum with rich dried and tropical fruit balanced by dry grassy, nutty and delicately spiced oaky notes.
