Crystal clear.
Floral vanilla fudge, honeyed maltiness, ripe pear, black pepper, elderflower and faint matchbox striking pad. Water amplifies cracked black pepper spice, ginger cake and very faint smoke.
Honeyed sweetness, vanilla fudge, cracked black pepper, ripe pear, milk chocolate and faint elderflower. Water dries and amplifies spicy notes – this is a malt that’s perhaps best appreciated neat.
Black pepper spice, ripe pear, red apple and creamy vanilla fudge.
Firstly you’ll be struck by the very stylish packaging. A deep purple lacquered wooden gift box conceals an equally classy decanter-style bottle with an impressive machined turned stainless steel neck. The whisky inside is honeyed with vanilla fudge, ripe pear and milk chocolate, invigorated with cracked black pepper spice. This is a 4.5/5 going 5/5 whisky presented in 5+ packaging. Would make a fabulous gift.
