Appearance:

Clear, deep scarlet red.

Aroma:

Pungent cherry – almond stone and jammy fruit with underlying gin.

Taste:

Superbly balanced. Tart lightly tannic cherry and dry gin botanicals are lifted by sweet jammy fruit and delicate almond with invigorating peppery and cardamom spice.

Aftertaste:

Long, fruity spicy finish.

Overall:

Sour Cherry Gin is an apt name for this fruity delicately spicy gin which is much drier, more alcoholic, and far more interesting than a traditional sloe gin. This spirit (rather than liqueur) is as good in a cocktail as it is in a hip-flask and is further proof that Luxardo + cherry = tasty.
