Released as a limited edition of 5,000 bottles in November 2021, this is a blend of brandies aged for a minimum of 18 years in a combination of French oak barriques and large Slavonian oak casks. The blend is finished in casks previously used to make Amarone Della Valpolicella red wine.

Appearance:

Clear, deep copper-amber.

Aroma:

Generously fragrant. Fig and walnut with sultana, cinnamon, vanilla, toasty oak, and faint clove.

Taste:

Full-flavoured, fruity, vinous, and spicy. Cinnamon, pimento and clove spice enliven candied and dried fruit, while dry toasty oak tannins and walnut balance rich sherry and marsala-like notes.

Aftertaste:

Rich dried fruit, dry oak tannins, and lingering Christmasy spice.

Overall:

Grape flavour shine in this voluptuous and powerful brandy with waves of dried fruit, spice, nuts and vanilla oak.
