Review and Tasting

Sampled on 18/08/2011

Appearance:

Clear, golden.

Aroma:

Honeyed nose with vanilla, delicate oak, a pinch of cinnamon spice and a whiff of linseed oil putty and boiled sweets.

Taste:

The palate (hydrated to approx. 43%) is more spicy and woody than the nose might suggest with dry brazil nut and walnut flavours, yet is balanced by rich vanilla, slight honey sweetness and smoothed by a faint touch of freshly oiled cricket bat.

Aftertaste:

Delightful lingering vanilla smoothed yet spicy finish.
