Metaxa 7 Stars is a blend of three ingredients: 1) A double pot still distilled brandy made from wine produced from Savatiano, Soultanina and Koritnthiakos grape varieties and aged a minimum of seven years in Limousin oak casks. 2) Aged aromatic Muscat wines from the Aegean Islands of Samos and...

Lemnos, and 3) an infusion of Mediterranean herbs and May rose petals. The final blend is married in oak barrels for one year before being chilled filtered and bottled.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Orange marmalade, floral orange and violet blossom, dried apricot, toasted walnut and black pepper spice.

Taste:

Slightly honey sweet and very fruity with marmalade, plum and red grapes. Mild black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Violet and rose is very pronounced in the long marmalade and elegant oak finish with black pepper spice.

Overall:

Aromatic and brandy-like with pronounced floral, marmalade and plum fruit, gently spiced with black pepper.
