Introduced in 2015, Talisker Skye is positioned between Talisker 10 Year Old and Talisker Storm. Like Talisker 10 Year Old, Skye is matured in refill and toasted American oak casks but with a slightly higher proportion of toasted casks.

Appearance:

Clear, mid to deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Red apple, coal bunker, caramel and zesty orange with salty seaweed, toasted almonds, sour bread and smoke. With water, charcoal toasted brown bread and cigarette ash.

Taste:

Salted caramel, coal tar, cigarette ash, barbeque sauce, liquorice, black pepper, herbs and sweet smoke. Bready vanilla with water.

Aftertaste:

Smoky tar, coal dust, chocolate, salty liquorice and black pepper.
