Bols claims to have developed a unique extraction process to obtain the rich sweet flavours from the lychee fruit. Launched in Asia in 2003, Bols Lychee Liqueur is proving to be a big hit in Japan where lychee liqueurs are a million litre a year business.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Tinned lychees and 'tropical' fruit juice, with jammy peach and green melon skin.
Taste:
Sweet, candied lychee with citric acid tartness that dominates the lychee flavours.
Aftertaste:
Jammy lychee with lingering acidity.
