Batch distilled in small quantities in absinthe's birthplace, Couvet, Val-de-Travers, Switzerland. La Fée XS Suisse is a clear 'La Bleue' absinthe which should be served diluted with 3 to 4 parts iced water without the addition of sugar.

Appearance:

(bottle No. 245 of 786, group 26906M) Crystal clear. Louches milky white when water is added.

Aroma:

Simple soft anis and herbal notes and a higher fennel content than its French counterpart.

Taste:

With three parts water, the result is a lightly aniseedy drink with delicate, complex, herbal notes of mint, angelica and camomile.

Aftertaste:

Wonderfully cleansing and refreshing.
