Any Daiquiri lover who has toured the best cocktail bars of Havana will tell you that a dash of this ‘Marrasquino’ goes into every Daiquiri served there. It’s interesting that the Cubans serve their Daiquiris with maraschino liqueur but also that this is just about the only brand available there.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Maraschino cherries with black pepper spice and a whiff of earthy just pressed apple juice.

Taste:

Sweet and slightly syrupy with kirsch eau-de-vie like spirit, concentrated cherry flavour and cracked black pepper bite. There’s a slight note of that earthy apple juice.

Aftertaste:

Cherry finish with lingering black pepper.
