'Nouvelle Vague' or 'New Wave' refers to the contemporary flavour composition of this absinthe with coffee and cocoa flavours. The makers recommend diluting with cold water to ratio of 1:2 to 1:4 and recommend adding a little sugar syrup.

The 'Sleeping Child' label (Absinthe Art Edition 7) is by Gottfried Helnwein, a provocative and controversial Austrian-Irish artist famous for his depictions of wounded children.

Όψη:

Clear, pale grassy green. With water louches very pale chalky green.

Μύτη:

Very pungent with pine needle and herbal aromas with anise and fennel. Water releases liquorice notes.

Στόμα:

Clean, fresh and complex with harmonious fennel, anise and alpine herbs.

Επίγευση:

Similarly pleasing finish.
