Traditionally all the countries of the Mediterranean basin boast an anise based national liqueur and Italy is no exception. Luxardo flavour their sambucas with green Sicilian aniseed which they steam distil to extract the essential oils which are soluble in neutral alcohol.

Luxardo is the best selling sambuca brand in the UK market has recently launched a new range of flavours including this cream variant "with a hint of coffee". Others include: cranberry, pomegranate, spiced apple and raspberry.

Opaque, wet sand / café crème colour.

Μύτη:

Mocha coffee, liquorice and aniseed.

Στόμα:

Sweet but the thick cream helps mellow this. The flavour is of refreshing aniseed and liquorice.

Επίγευση:

Biscuity coffee emerges in the creamy aniseed and liquorice finish.
