My story is based on hope.
A hope that through the challenges of full prohibition here in South Africa (no booze = no job and no money) that this drink can shine through and make it to the tastebuds of the world. The Hope Margarita is a culmination of years of traveling to various countries and sampling margaritas in the best bars and restaurants. Having been a sommelier and food pairing specialist before I boarded the mixed drinks boat has afforded me the skills to specialize in drinks that have global appeal. In particular, drinks with a nostalgic element that we can relate to (vanilla in this case) balanced with a savoury twist just to spark the intrigue and get you excited for a new flavour combo (enter soy sauce!).

The smoked rim and mint leaf really frame the picture in terms of look, aroma and texture.

The Hope Margarita - full classic heritage with nostalgia and a few dashes of hope.
