Luxardo cherry spear, a spruce sprig
1 oz 100 proof rye (I used Jack Daniel's bonded rye)
3/4 oz VSOP cognac
1/2 oz cherry herring liquor
2 dash Peychauds
1 dash orange bitters
Absinthe rinsed glass - pour absinthe and water over ice and set aside
| 1/2 fl oz | Heering Cherry Liqueur |
| 3/4 fl oz | Hennessy VS Cognac |
| 1 fl oz | Old Grand-Dad Bonded 100 Proof |
| 1 dash | Orange Bitters by Angostura |
| 2 fl oz | Peychaud's Aromatic Bitters |
| 1/2 fl oz | La Fée Parisienne absinthe |
| 2 fl oz | Chilled water |
