How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled glass.
| 1 1/2 fl oz | Monkey 47 gin |
| 5/6 fl oz | Luxardo Maraschino liqueur |
| 1/2 fl oz | De Kuyper Triple Sec (40%) |
| 5/6 fl oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 3 drops | Difford's Saline Solution (or ½ pinch salt) |
Notes:
A decent amount of Lime is required to balance out the sweet Maraschino and Triple Sec Liqueurs.
Origin:
Long story......When I created my Amsterdamage Cocktail for a stag do in Amsterdam in 2015, I met a guy, 'Del' who invited me to his stag do in Las Vegas in 2017. I put this together but we never got to sample it whilst there! I found my ingredients in an old notebook so decided to publish 4 years on!! Adapted it slightly in 2022 for the Monkey 47 competition on Difford's guide.
