Pronounced Tom-in-to’owl’, the Tomintoul single malt whisky distillery is located on the B9136, close to the River Avon near the village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Scottish Highlands (second highest in Scotland) in the heart of the Speyside region. Tomintoul Distillery has been owned by Angus Dundee Distillers since 2000.
