Launched in 1986, this was the first Absolut flavour. It is flavoured with essential oils of roasted jalapeños, green tomato and dried herbs. Its release inspired a series of flavoured variations of the Absolut advertising theme, including 'Absolut Mary' with tomatoes hugging the bottle.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Vegetal, Jalapeno chile pepper, paprika and black pepper with green olives and bacon fat.

Taste:

Black pepper, Jalapeno chile pepper, smoked paprika, green olives, charred wood and bacon.

Aftertaste:

Long lasting hot peppery finish.

Overall:

Vegetal, Jalapeno chile pepper, black pepper and paprika with green olives. Vegetal Jalapeno character rather than straight peppery heat.
