The distinctive Hine faceted bottle is a replica of a crystal decanter given to Robert Hine as a wedding present in 1938. Created in 1989 by Bernard Hine, Rare VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac blended from more than 25 eaux de vie from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne (all over six years old).

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Vanilla, grilled almond, gingerbread, dried apricot, apple pie, gooseberry pie, and faint dark chocolate.

Taste:

Mellow, caramel and vanilla with floral notes, hints of apricot, gingerbread, nuts, fruitcake and chocolate.

Aftertaste:

Honeycomb, dark chocolate and dark peppery spice.
