Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/05/2016

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Toasted almond/amaretto, raisins, vanilla and caramel with faint green grape.

Candied fruit, raisins, almond, caramel, walnut and cream-of-soda vanilla with mild black pepper spice and crystallised ginger.

Almond, walnut and vanilla with mild black pepper and faint lingering crystallised ginger.

At around half the price of a three star cognac, this silky easy-drinking French brandy may lack the depth and complexity of more serious brandies but represents great value for money – even at a mere 38% alc./vol.. Candied fruit, green grapes, raisins, almond, caramel and faint crystallised ginger.
