Released March 2010, this 12-year-old Springbank was matured in 60 per cent first fill sherry hogsheads and 40 per cent refill sherry butts. Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration.

Appearance:

Clear, light golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent, Seville orange marmalade on buttered toast with faint peatyness. After 10 minutes pronounced toffee fudge aromas emerge.

Taste:

Slightly sweet with elegant restrained peatyness and fresh citrus fruits and faint cacao. Oily mouth feel and butteryness.

Aftertaste:

Slight vegetal note to lightly smoked finish.
