Created in 1988, Extra is a blend of Grande Champagne and Borderies (approx 30-35%), including eau-de-vie drawn from vintage reserves held at Chateau Courvoisier. The cognacs in this blend are 50-100 years old. Extra is presented in a tear-drop shaped hand-finished decanter.

(It's unusual for a cognac to contain Grande Champagne and Borderies without the addition of Petite Champagne.)
