This Belgian dubbel abbey ale is brewed buy the giant Anheuser-Busch InBev using roasted malt, corn, water, hops and yeast.
Sampled on 29/04/2012
Clear, dark reddy-brown with moderate beige head and heavy lacing.
Demerara sugar, caramel, toasted current buns, dates, cocoa and faint clove.
Slightly sweet, lightly clove spiced malty palate with burnt raisony prune juice fruit, butterscotch and faint espresso.
Fruity, lightly bitter finish with lingering clove spice.
