Brewed at the Stella Artois brewery in Leuven under a 1952 agreement between the Leffe abbey and the then brewer. Royalties continue to be paid to the abbey to this day.

Appearance:

Clear, mid golden amber with thick white head with quickly subsides leaving a lasting thin quilt and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Bready malt with light yeastiness, faint banana chew fruit and coriander.

Taste:

Sweet barley, malty palate with mild coriander spice and faint banana fruit.

Aftertaste:

Malty, lightly herbal finish with lingering sweet barley.
