"Made in small batches with hand-picked elderflowers". Arguably aimed at a more consumer audience rather than the professional bartender - the label encourages pouring over pancakes or adding to fruit salad.
Review and Tasting
Sampled on 10/04/2012
Appearance:
Clear, pale straw.
Aroma:
Gooseberry leaf-led nose with unripened blackcurrant.
Taste:
Refreshingly tart elderflower palate (through citric acidity), with tart gooseberry notes. Very dry by comparison (we suspect barely over 100g sugar per litre) with peppery, grassy notes.
Aftertaste:
Fades with citric acidity with faint floral elderflower.
