Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes is a brewery in Quilmes, Argentina, founded in 1890. Currently it has six plants and exports all over the world, including Spain, the UK and Australia. Their American-style lager is brewed using: local barley malt, adjunct (we presume rice), hops and antioxidant E224.
Sampled on 09/09/2012
(best before 29-Sept-12) Clear, bright golden yellow with thin white head.
Subdued lightly malty cereal nose.
Light bodied going on bland with light slightly sweet malty cereal and little discernible hop content. However, nothing bad or off.
Short malty sweetcorn. A light sunny holiday lager.
