Available spring and winter this seasonal brown ale takes its name from Koko Crater where the Hawaiian tradition of standing up paddle boarding originates. It uses Premium 2-Row, Victory, Carapilis, Munich and Chocolate malts, blended with Cascade, Willamette, Warrior and Millennium hops.

According to the label, it is also “brewed with toasted coconut and natural flavour added.

Appearance:

Chestnut brown with a one finger beige head which quickly fades leaving light lacing.

Aroma:

Pungent milk chocolate drinking powder masks the toasted coconut. Slight whiff of dung.

Taste:

Slightly sweet, chocolate, coffee and toasted coconut with Demerara sugar and faint dungy note.

Aftertaste:

Toasted almond and mocha coffee.
