Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/06/2013

Appearance:

Slight haze, brick red/salmon pink. Cloudy of fine white sediment settles in the bottom of the bottle.

Aroma:

Sweetened stewed rhubarb. Clean and honest.

Taste:

Slightly sweet with a thin rather than syrupy mouthfeel and perfectly balancing rhubarb’s sourness and bitterness. The strong rhubarb flavour is of stewed rather than raw rhubarb and is pleasingly mouth puckering.

Aftertaste:

Pleasing cleansing acidity and lingering stewed rhubarb.
