Review and Tasting

Sampled on 29/10/2013

Appearance:

Clear, mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Boiled sweets, vanilla, sandalwood and bubble-gum with waxy red apple skin and biscuity malt. Water amplifies sweet orchard fruit.

Taste:

Sweet with balancing acidity – pear drops, nuts, cacao and orchard fruit. Water amplifies fruitiness and sweet notes – perhaps too much.

Aftertaste:

Black cherry, orange zest oils and lingering dry cedarwood.
