Anspach & Hobday brew their IPA with several different hop combinations. In their words they are “Always resinous with a punch bitterness.” Bottle conditioned so store upright and pour carefully.

Sampled on 30/01/2015

Appearance:

(sample best before 27/May/15) Hazy, sandy coloured with thick retentive ivory white head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Fragrant resinous pine hops to the fore with bready yeast and citrus zest.

Taste:

Brawny but not overpowering bitter piney hops, good underlying bready maltiness, tropical fruit and refreshing zesty orange and grapefruit.

Aftertaste:

Brown bready malt and long lingering piney hops.
