Appearance:

Opaque, deep ebony with thick creamy, retentive beige head with moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Roasted malt, charcoal, dark chocolate and doughy bread and liquorice.

Taste:

Dark chocolate, creamy roasted malt and spirituous alcohol spice.

Aftertaste:

Bitter, charcoal, dark chocolate and liquorice. Overall: A huge beer in every respect so best suited to porter aficionados.
