Clear, deep golden amber.
Honey drizzled toasty malt with wax jacket, shortcrust pastry, green apple, dried apricot, mandarin orange zest and pencil shavings. More dried apricot and orange zest with water.
Rich and honeyed with dried apricot, green apple, orange zest, candied lime, candle wax and moist ginger bread. Orange zest is amplified with water.
Malty raisin and sultana rich fruit cake with bitter orange zest, dark chocolate, nutmeg spice and sandalwood.
Honeyed and citrusy with fruit cake, rounding waxiness and mild spice. I enjoyed my tasting sample then realised I should have tried some frozen as recommended by its makers. Seems a shame though.
