Review and Tasting


Sampled on 23/09/2015

Appearance:

Clear, light to mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Creamy with faint sulphur, cooled bonfire ash and faint vegetal aromas. Wax crayon emerges with water and vegetal notes are amplified.

Taste:

Vegetal and smoky with celery, cereal and meatiness. Faint notes of Bovril. Sweeter with water. Notes of pumpkin pie.

Aftertaste:

Bonfire ash, smoke and faint Bovril.

Overall:

Meaty with faint notes of sulphur alongside more regular Lagavulin smokiness.
