Sampled on 22/02/2016

Appearance:

(sample BBE 01/Nov/16) Hazy, sandy yellow amber with retentive white head and equally retentive lacing.

Aroma:

Pungent resinous hops, white grapefruit zest and white bread crust maltiness.

Taste:

Bitter pine and grassy hops with lemon zest, sweet pineapple and underlying white bread maltiness.

Aftertaste:

Cleansing bitter piney hops and grapefruit zest.

Overall:

A decent Italian take on an American West Coast IPA with cleansing resinous piney hops, grapefruit zesty freshness and sweet tropical fruit.
