Created by Midleton distillery's Head Cooper, Ger Buckley, Jameson Cooper's Croze is designed to showcase the diversity of barrels used at the distillery and their influence. Bottled without chill-filtration. Incidentally, a Croze is a tool used to cut the groves for the head in the top of a cask.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

New leather, dried fruit, toasted bamboo, toffee banana, biscuit, red apple skin and lavender. Water reveals rose petal and potpourri.

Taste:

Leather, dried fruits, toffee fudge, vanilla and hot cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Red apple and new leather with lingering cinnamon spice.

Overall:

Mellow and vanilla-ed with toffee, vanilla fudge and light enlivening cinnamon spice.
