Review and Tasting

Sampled on 04/06/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before Feb/19) Clear, rust orange with very short live white head and a limited number of small rising bubbles.

Aroma:

Zesty citrus – particularly orange, with herbs and quinine.

Taste:

Bittersweet with a light effervescence. Orange and grapefruit with quinine herbal rooty bitterness, vanilla and light citric acidity.

Aftertaste:

Long bitter finish. Zesty citrus with lingering bitterness.

Overall:

Once you become accustomed to Crodino's bitter sweetness, its citrus flavour is very appealing with complex herbal and rooty bitterness, quinine and faint vanilla. All it lacks is alcohol!
