Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/09/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before Oct/17, Padova) Clear, light golden amber with white head.

Aroma:

Cereal and sweetcorn with light grassy hops.

Taste:

Light-bodied with high carbonation. Slightly sweet corn and white bread crust with balancing but restrained dry grassy hops.

Aftertaste:

Long crisp lightly malty finish which is fairly dry.

Overall:

The “Blue Ribbon” Italian lager which for many drinkers outside of Italy is the taste of Italy – certainly where beer is concerned. Nastro Azzurro is a light, crisp and clean light lager.
