Appearance:
Clear, deep brown amber.
Aroma:
Zesty grapefruit with bark and spice.
Taste:
Bright zesty grapefruit with deep spiced bitter bark.
Aftertaste:
Zesty grapefruit fades with bitter blacked fruitcake cake notes.
Overall:
Assertive zesty grapefruit and complex bitterness. Orange bitters are commonplace in cocktails but perhaps grapefruit bitters often would be more appropriate.
