Review and Tasting

Sampled on 27/08/2019

Appearance:

Hazy pale amber with a retentive white head and good lacing.

Aroma:

Bready and yeasty with generous citrusy and floral hops.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Pronounced floral and cleansing citrusy (tangerine) hops served over bready maltiness with an almost creamy mouthfeel.

Aftertaste:

Long floral and citrusy moderately bitter finish.

Overall:

Double dry hopping contributes distinctive floral and pronounced citrusy hops notes to this pale ale but without the overt bitterness that characterises some. Underlying bready maltiness rounds and mellows hop notes.
