Brewed in the style of a traditional Grisette farmhouse ale, this relatively low alcohol beer was brewed by Good Things in collaboration with Howling Hops using gorse picked in the Ashdown Forest.
Brewed with: water, malted barley, oats, wheat, hops, yeast, Chamomile and Gorse.
Sampled on 29/03/2020
Slight haze, pale golden amber with a thin white head.
Camomile gives this beer a cider-like aroma.
Light-bodied. Yeasty white wheat bread with light bitterness and floral notes.
Weizenbier-like finish.
If you like Belgium or German wheat beers, then you'll love this Grisette-style chamomile and gorse infused ale.
