Agavesito is a blend of 100% organic agave nectar, sugar syrup and natural flavourings so contains a high concentration of fructose and glucose sugars. It is designed to best complement agave spirits in cocktails.
Agavesito is a ready-to-mix in cocktails agave syrup created by La Punta Expendio de Agave, a noted Mexican bar in Rome, working with Pallini, an historic Italian syrups producer, also in Rome.
Agavesito's Brix degrees is between that of a standard sugar syrup (62 Brix) and an agave nectar. The high fructose content, naturally present in agave nectar, is balanced with glucose. La Punta Expendio de Agave says, "This mix has a sweetening power more versatile in cocktail making."

Clear, pale yellow amber. (Paler in colour than is typical of 100% agave syrup.)
Popcorn and caramel.
Not as caramel-forward as most agave syrups with more of a popcorn note and faint overripe banana.
A continuation of the palate but with a touch of white pepper and toffee.
Designed for mixing with agave spirits and indeed Agavesito works brilliantly in this application. For their Tommy's Margarita, La Punta specify 50ml blanco tequila, 30ml fresh lime juice and 20ml Agavesito syrup. Having tried this I'd cut the Agavesito syrup back to around 17.5ml whereas I'd only use 15ml of 100% agave syrup. I can attest that the Agavesito allows the tequila to shine that bit more than 100% agave syrup but I worry that some drinkers order a Tommy's Margarita specifically to avoid glucose so perhaps when Agavesito is used menus should say "with agave and sugar syrup."
