To quote the back of the perfume-like bottle's packaging: "Nuvo is a perfect nectar of French white wine, ultra-premium French vodka, French sparkling wine, exotic fruit flavours and a touch of carbonation."

Nuvo was launched in 2007 by New York entrepreneur Raphael Yakoby. In 2010 Diageo purchased a minority interest the brand then soon after increased this to a controlling 70%, only to sell its ownership stake back to Yakoby in June 2013.

Appearance:

Clear, baby pink with delicate mousse.

Aroma:

A cherryade-like nose has sweet perfumed aromas with notes of pot pourri and toilet air-freshener.

Taste:

Intensely flavoured palate with candied orange peel, confectioner's raspberry flavouring and confectioner's strawberry jam.

Aftertaste:

Quinine, raspberry and vanilla finish. The bottle says
