Launched in 1978, by United Breweries Group in India where Kingfisher is the largest selling beer accounting for some one in every three bottles of beer sold. In the UK, where it has long been marketed to Indian Restaurants, Kingfisher is brewed under licence by Heineken.

(best before Nov-17) Clear, golden with thin white head with quickly fades to barely a ring of foam.
Wet white bread baguette with faint fruity notes of lime, green banana and grape juice.
Light-bodied. Faintly metallic sweetcorn, white bread and lightly oily grassy hops.
Reminiscent of metallic char-grilled corn-on-the-cob.
A light-bodied lager with with notes reminiscent of white bread, metallic sweetcorn and grass.
