As the name suggests, rosé (rosato) vermouths are pale pink to pink-orange in colour and tend to be more fruit-forward than dry white (clear to golden) vermouths.
Rosé vermouths are based on white or rosé wines, and the berry fruit notes typical of these vermouths can originate from the base wines and infusions of strawberries, raspberries, or other fruits. Rosé vermouths often have pronounced floral notes and tend to have a delicate sweetness, usually more pronounced than in bianco vermouths.
