Amaro is Italian for bitter, and Nardini Amaro is a traditional bittersweet Italian aperitivo, principally flavoured with bitter orange, peppermint and gentian. A chance appearance on the HBO TV drama series The Sopranos did not hurt U.S. sales where Amaro is now one of Nardini best-selling products
