
Lemon wheel floating on surface
Steep classic English Christmas tea in hot 2:1 syrup for 6 minutes and cool off. 2 dl syrup for 1 tablespoon tea. Use 1/2 shot of this syrup.
Build everything except Champagne in shaker and add 1 strip of lemon zest, shake and double strain in chilled coupe. Float the Champagne and garnish with lemon wheel.
1/2 fl oz | Heering Cherry Liqueur |
1 1/2 fl oz | Tanqueray London Dry Gin |
3/4 fl oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1/2 fl oz | Monin Pure Cane sugar syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2 sugar to 1 water) |
1 dash | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
3/4 fl oz | Brut champagne/sparkling wine |
