Past October 31st, the Dutch 3 most promising finalists for next year’s BACARDÍ Legacy were chosen. Let's have a look at their recipes!

The Dutch Top 8 competed and presented their Legacy drinks to the jury in Bar Feijoa. After a day of great drinks and presentations, the judges crowned the three most promising bartenders.

For Cecile, Raysa and Jeroen, the Legacy adventure has only just started. They will have to work on their promotional campaign, as well as perfecting their stage performance for the Dutch Bacardi Legacy Final, coming March 2019.

Cecile Fayn – Flying Dutchmen Cocktails

Ingredients:
45 ml Bacardi Añejo Cuatro
20 ml Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino
15 ml maple syrup
10 ml lime juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Top of with brut champagne

Method: Shake the first five ingredients with ice. Strain in a chilled coupe. Top off with champagne and garnish with a lime zest on the rim of the glass.

Raysa Straal – Bar Feijoa

Ingredients:
50 ml Bacardi Añejo Cuatro
25 ml verjus & endive juice
10 ml sugar syrup
5 ml D.O.M. Benedictine
3 drops balsamic vinegar

Method: Shake the ingredients with ice. Fine strain in a chilled coupe. Garnish with an edible flower.

Jeroen Scheerman – Bar Twenty Seven

Ingredients:
45 ml Bacardi Carta Blanca
20 ml apple juice
20 ml lemon juice
10 ml sherry
15 ml lavender syrup
5 ml Frangelico

Method: Shake the ingredients with ice. Fine strain in a rocks glass filled with a large, clear ice block. Garnish with Frangelico spray.
