Has anyone tried this frozen? its giving me like solero vibes and i want to play with that idea of orange boozy solero

Fantastic drink! It is a bit sweet, so it's more like an anytime drink for those with wet palates. The orange expresses itself in fruitiness rather than sourness, with appealing sweet notes from the vanilla coming in. Also, it came a nice orange-red (from the Cara Cara oranges I used), rather than the green.

I found 15ml of vanilla syrup made this sweeter and more in keeping of the perception of vanilla being the main taste. Obvs less syrup if it’s a tad too sweet!

Is it just me or does this look green, and if so how did it get green?

It does indeed look green. Prior to the age of commercial vanilla vodkas, our original recipe was made with home vanilla-infused vodka so light brown. I suspect mixed with orange juice under old-school photo lights etc this produced a green image. I'll re-try and make a note to re-shoot.
