I think I will like this better 50/50 - I prefer being able to taste the ginger over the whisky.

Liked this but found it a bit on the sweet side. By adjusting to 2:1 the flavour of the whisky is more noticeable and the resulting cocktail with a hint of ginger and sweetness.
